Some unusual advice here on how to manage
upwards.

It's not the sort of advice I give out in coaching sessions.  But I can see some truth in it.

I remember a few times when I decided to ignore an email or request at work.  Even after being chased.

And a funny thing tended to happen when I
did.

The request would go away.

No more chasing and no more request.

It got me wondering what % of work is created just for the sake of creating it...

And how important a request was if people just forgot about it.

What do you think of the Advanced Tip?

It’s all well and good inventing work.

But I guess you need to make sure that you've something to show if you get
asked.

Now it’s your turn.

What’s your favourite tip or trick to manage
upwards? Maybe something a bit wacky?

Hit reply and let me know.  If I like it, I’ll share it.

That’s it for today.

Have a great weekend.
