Hypothetical question: Would you swap places with Warren Buffett?
You’d
take on all his wealth. But you’d take on everything else too. Like his age.
You probably don’t need to think about this question for long.
My guess is you'd answer with a big, fat “no”.
It would be great to become a multi-billionaire in an instant…
But you’d also become 92 years old.
Wouldn’t give you much time would it?
Time to spend with family or friends. Learning, resting or sleeping. Working out, exploring, having fun and experiencing everything else that life has to offer.
No wonder you wouldn’t want to give that up.
I know I wouldn’t.
And I’m not alone.
Warren Buffett himself also agrees:
“If you asked me to trade away a very significant percentage of my net worth for some extra years on my life…I’d do it in a second.”
Warren Buffett understands the
value of time.
He knows he’ll never have more time than he does at this very moment.
And if he could, he’d pay to give himself more time.
Maybe we’ll be able to do this one day. Rewind the clock. A bit like in the Terminator movies.
We can’t do that today.
But there is a next best option…
You can get more time.
And the way to do this is by getting better at managing your time.
This is why I’ve created the Free Time Challenge. It’s designed to help you manage your time more effectively.
So if you want to take your time management to the next level, you should join me in the challenge.
This is how it will work…
The challenge will take place over email. No Zoom calls. No video recordings. Just email. Nice and simple.
It will start this Monday 17th October and run for 5 days until Friday.
Every day I’ll send out an email. It'll take no more than 5 mins to read.
The emails will contain prompts.
Some of these prompts will be concepts and ideas. And some will be tools and tactics.
They’ll cover areas like procrastination. Energy. Boundaries. Distractions. And your identity.
All designed to help you to manage your time more effectively.
And because it’s you answering the prompts, you’ll come away with insights and actions tailored just for you.
So who’s this challenge for?
It’s for anyone who always seems to have more work than time to do that work…
For anyone who wants a better balance between work time and
non-work time…
And anyone who struggles to fit their personal and social activities around everything else.
Now, I could’ve set a fairly high price for this challenge.
I did think about charging £50.
And I should definitely be charging at least £25.
But I want the challenge to be affordable.
So in the end I’ve set the price at £5. Less than the price of a pint.
(at my local pub anyway)
Because I’d love as many of you as possible to take the challenge.
To recap: 5 emails. Each email 5 mins long. For £5.
The challenge goes on sale at 5pm today. And the sale closes at 5pm tomorrow.
So keep an eye on your inbox at 5pm for the link.
Any questions on the challenge? Just
hit reply and let me know.
Can’t wait to see you in there.
