Here are a few time management and productivity habits from the rich, famous and downright peculiar (my lips are sealed on who's who):
1. Elon Musk chunks his day into 5-minute increments
2. Victoria Beckham matches the colour of her clothes to her tasks
3. Jack Dorsey uses “themed days” to stop himself getting side-tracked
4. Ariana Huffington begins each day with 20 to 30 minutes of
meditation
5. Gwyneth Paltrow schedules every hour of her week before the week begins
6. Barack Obama has removed all “trivial decisions” from his life (e.g. what he wears)
And my suggestion for you is this:
Ignore all of these “tips”.
And here’s why:
Not only would following these tips leave you absolutely exhausted…
But more to the point:
When it comes to time management, there is no cut and paste. What works for you will not work for someone else. And vice versa.
The list itself shows
this. Everyone has their own favourite way of doing things. The way that works best for them.
So what matters most is what works best for you.
This week I’m promoting Time Conqueror, my time management challenge.
And every day of the challenge contains prompts and questions to help you get crystal clear on what works best for you. Not for someone
else.
You could call it your very own, personalised time management action plan.
Interested?
I’m only making Time Conqueror available to people who are
signed up to my emails.
So if you’d like to join, here’s the link.
