Piggybacking off yesterday’s email on 2024 goals…
There are a few things I’ll be playing around with, experimenting with and seeing what happens with as we move into 2024.
These aren’t goals per se.
Rather stuff I’ve been thinking about & would love to create.
And I figured why not share these. I’ll be emailing more about them as the year goes on, but there’s no time like the present.
Away we go:
*** Fresh off the heels of my inaugural column in
New Escapologist, I’ll be writing more columns in 2024 and looking for opportunities to contribute to other audiences & communities via writing, speaking & teaching
*** I’m going to start a monthly Zoom drop-in. This will be a one hour call for anyone who wants a taste of what coaching is all about. More info to follow
*** In the next few months, I’ll be launching my first group coaching program. I’ve got an idea which I like, but I need to refine it. Watch this space for more
*** I’ve been toying with the idea of emailing 7 times a week
rather than 5 (as I do now). At some point, I think I'll make the shift. I have a sneaky suspicion this might not be one for 2024, but we’ll see
*** I want to make a much bigger push on growing this newsletter and I’ll be trying a bunch of ways to do this. I said the same thing at the start of 2023. Hopefully I won’t be saying the same
thing at the start of 2025 too!
*** One of these list-building experiments will be publishing a book based on some of the 300-odd daily emails I’ve sent over the last 18 months. My plan is to package them up, put a pretty bow on them and release into the wild (aka Amazon)
On that last point:
I’m in the process of going back over my old emails to decide which to put into this book.
Related to this, I have a favour to
ask.
I have a rough idea about which of my emails resonate more than others and I certainly have my favourites.
However, it's difficult for me to be objective. I’m a little biased.
But you, my readers, are not.
So here’s my question for you:
What’s been your favourite email of mine?
Even if it’s weeks or months since you read it?
Perhaps it was an email that made you smile…
Or it had an interesting idea…
Or maybe you remember the email, but you have no idea why.
Whatever the case, if one of my emails has stuck in your mind, I’d be grateful if you could hit reply and let me know which one. It's useful intel as I get cracking on the book.
That’s all for today.
