The favourite part of my morning routine?
The moment the first drop of coffee hits my lips.
There’s something magical about the smell of the aromas wafting up my nose as the nutty, rich &
smooth coffee touches my tongue for the first time, caresses the back of my throat, then disappears deep inside me.
The taste isn’t just delightful but it feels as if my whole body is waking up as the coffee starts to course through my veins.
This is when the day really begins.
The only downside?
Knowing that a few hours later the caffeine will have left my system and I’ll come hurtling back down to basecamp from the caffeine
crash.
After all, what goes up must come down.
