When Karin emailed me, she told me that her life was a grind and constantly exhausting.
She said wanted to step away from her job but knew that she was clenching onto it with a white knuckled fear of the unknown.
The one thing she said she wanted above all from our time together was clarity.
Karin and I have just finished three coaching calls.
At the end of these sessions, she sent me the following
note:
I found tremendous clarity from the three coaching sessions we had.
My struggles were rooted in the idea that change and constant striving will bring me what I want.
Working with you shifted my perspectives and gave me insight into what I really need. After we met I had the paradoxical insight that I was seeking change because I thought my external circumstances were the problem. I realized that what I actually need is stability.
The coaching sessions with you helped me to decide to stay put in my job for now. Since I made that decision, I’ve felt calm and more able to handle the intensity inherent in my job. I deeply appreciate your support.
I admire the openness & curiosity Karin brought to our
conversations and her willingness to explore.
And I’m stoked she got the clarity she was looking for.
The interesting thing about finding clarity is that it might lead you in a direction you didn’t predict.
In fact, it’s to be expected. Otherwise you wouldn’t be looking for clarity in the first place.
This is why a coaching conversation isn’t about handing out advice or holding you accountable to a checklist of goals you’re not even
sure you want to hit.
Not my coaching anyway.
Instead, it’s an immersion into pure exploration & discovery. And that's because these are places where insight and realisation take place.
I suspect some people reading this would rather stick pins in their eyes then take a trip like this into the unknown.
But I also suspect some people reading this might be feeling a tingle of excitement at the prospect.
If so, then know this:
My coaching was made for you.
Right now, I have one coaching spot
available.
There may well be a time when I’m able to take on a fuller squad of bright-eyed & bushy-tailed clients. But at the moment, one more client is all I have space for alongside the coaching I’m already doing, these daily emails, the book I’m writing and my day job.
So if you’re curious or intrigued about coaching, here’s what I suggest:
Hit reply to this email with the word “interested”.
I’ll reply with a
few questions, and if you have any questions for me, I’ll answer them.
If I think I can help you, I’ll suggest a one hour Zoom call to talk more about what you’re looking for and how we could work together.
This call
is free, with no obligation to have any more sessions. Even if nothing further, I expect you to come away from that call with a renewed sense of clarity and direction.
If, after this call, you’d like to proceed with coaching, I’ll offer you a package of three 1 hour sessions for the all-in price of £500.
As I said at the top of the email, I only have one slot available. And once it’s gone, it’s gone.
So if you’re interested, intrigued or curious to find out more, now’s not the time to sit on your hands.
If you have questions or if you’re ready to jump in, hit reply with the word “interested” and we’ll go from there.
That’s all for today.
