As I mentioned yesterday, Lauren and I are expecting our first baby.
Now we’re halfway through the pregnancy, Lauren’s belly is getting bigger by the day.
But here’s something I didn’t
expect:
My tummy is getting a lot more rotund too!
Give me a string vest and shave my head and I’d be the spitting image of Onslow from the cult classic UK TV show Keeping up Appearances.
Turns out my blossoming belly actually is to be expected.
Lauren pinged me an article the other day called “6 surprising pregnancy symptoms”.
As I flicked through it, I came across something called Couvade Syndrome. It’s a condition where an expectant father experiences the same symptoms as his pregnant partner.
Symptoms like disturbed sleep, fluctuating hormones, mood swings and yes, a portly paunch!
Now, I’m not sure if Couvade Symptom is true or a load of hogwash.
I’d venture that the KitKats, Galaxy Ripple bars and boxes of Toblerone all over Casa Grundy have something to do with my rapidly expanding waistline too.
But who knows?
What I do know is that the bigger my belly becomes, the less time there is on the clock before I trade my coaching calls for lullabies and late night feeds.
This is why I’ve decided to run a coaching flash sale.
I’m calling this sale Baby on Board.
I’m being straight with you when I
say coaching changed my life.
Sure – it’s given me the tools to go back to the 9 to 5 and actually enjoy being in the office rather than feel like every day is a grind and a battle.
But it goes much further than
that.
I can directly tie coaching to a sense I have now that life is full of play, potential and possibility. I don’t spend time stuck in my head like I used to, dwelling on the past and worrying about the future, and I’ve found a peace & clarity I always thought was out of reach.
This is why I decided to take American “Supercoach” Michael Neill’s 7 month certification training last year.
Experiencing this shift first-hand and knowing that it’s possible left me with almost no choice but to learn how to spark this same shift in other
people.
But here’s the thing:
I have no idea how 2025 will shape up with a baby on the way.
That’s not me saying I’ll never coach again.
But I am saying my priorities are changing.
This is why I’ve launched my Baby on Board sale now, while there’s still
plenty of time.
If happiness, peace, calm & clarity are in your sights and you’ve sat on the fence about coaching before, this is your chance. At the end of the week, this offer goes kaput.
