My brand new group coaching programme Thrive at Work is now live.
If you want to find more fun, flow and fulfilment at work without spending hours researching & applying for new jobs or doing something drastic like changing career or quitting your
job, this is the programme for you.
Four years ago, I was sick to the back teeth with my banking job.
There was no separation between “work Tom” and
“non-work Tom”. And I hated it. It felt suffocating and completely out of balance.
In my last role, I was leading securitisation transactions worth hundreds of millions of pounds.
But it felt like my work had become more & more meaningless.
And as my responsibilities grew and the buck increasingly stopped with me, I was spending more & more time in the office and, even when I wasn't in the office, more & more
time in my head thinking about my work.
When I was in the pub with a mate on a Thursday evening, all I could think about was Friday’s to-do list.
When
I was munching Sunday lunch with Mum & Dad, my head would be playing over a big work meeting that was coming up next week.
“Work Tom” had taken over.
Long story short, I ended up quitting my job.
And then, two years later, going back!
My experience of work nowadays is
chalk and cheese vs the first iteration of my banking career.
I rarely think about work when I’m not at work.
Big meetings, projects and presentations
don’t stress me out like they used to.
And it feels like I’m flowing, dancing and connecting with work rather than battling against it.
If I hadn’t
come across American “supercoach” Michael Neill and taken his 7 month certification training, I honestly think I’d be back at work, miserable and struggling.
But luckily for me, I did.
And in Thrive at Work, I’ll be revealing how anyone can “flip a switch” and take a boring, stressful, overwhelming or unrewarding job and turn it into a source of balance, energy and fulfilment.
I’ll be writing more about this over the next few days.
But if you’re ready to check out all the details for Thrive at Work, I’ve created a handy Google Doc right here
And if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me an email.
I’m all ears.
That’s all for today.
