Quick heads up:
I’ve been promoting my new group coaching programme Thrive at Work for the last few days and this is the last email I’ll be sending about it.
If you’re on the fence, this
email might help you decide.
I’m going to share a few thoughts about the case against the programme.
Because there’s no doubt about it – Thrive at Work isn’t for everyone.
Here’s a few short pointers on who I don’t think should join Thrive at Work:
*** Anyone who’s dead-set on changing career or quitting their job. Thrive at Work isn’t going to help you with this. In fact, the whole point of
the programme is to show you how to find more fun, freedom & flow right now, in your current job, without needing to change anything about your work
*** Anyone who’s sole focus is getting that next pay-rise or promotion. Nothing wrong with wanting this of course. And I actually think that operating from a place of greater
aliveness, flow & creativity can't help but increase your chances of performing better in your job and thus snagging a bigger bonus or impressing the almighty powers-that-be. But this is a by-product of the programme, not the purpose of the programme. I want to be clear on that
*** Anyone expecting a quick fix. I’m not saying
transformations can’t take place overnight or even in a few short minutes. They clearly can (the history books are choca-a-bloc with examples). But I suggest signing up for Thrive at Work with a healthy dose of patience. It’s why I’ve structured the programme over 5 months
*** Anyone who knows it all already or prefers not to
think outside the box. We won’t be exploring lots of everyday, common-or-garden ideas like positive thinking, setting boundaries or meditation during Thrive at Work. In fact, the principles we’ll be exploring will explain exactly why a lot of the usual tips & tricks for being happier in the workplace don’t work. If this sounds too unconventional or outlandish to you, Thrive at Work might not be the right fit
*** Anyone who expects me to hand them a recipe for finding more fun, flow & fulfilment at work. This isn’t how the programme works. I’ll be pointing at signposts, beacons and guiding the group as we explore together. But the answers that are right for you will come from YOU, not from me (who would’ve thought it??)
Okay.
We’re running out of time now.
Depending on how long it takes for this email to whizz its way through t’interwebs, there’s probably only a
few short hours before the 10am PDT / 1pm EDT / 6pm BST deadline.
Here’s where to sign up
Once the deadline's passed?
We’re done and dusted, kippers and custard.
Have a great weekend.
