I’ve just downed my third wheatgrass smoothie and according to my Pomodoro timer, my ice bath will be ready in exactly 9 minutes, 13 seconds.
So there’s just enough time to dash out this game-changing email packed with awesome tactics, strategies and advice.
Today I’m lasering in on productivity.
Truth is, I always get edgy when I come across a Dimstagram dimfluencer parroting their spiel about “10’xing your life” and the glory of the hustle & grind.
I was actually talking about this recently with my sleep consultant while we were toiling through a synchronised breathwork session.
He was basically saying that, more than ever, life seems to be a non-stop sprint of efficiency, optimisation and output. And in the midst of this we seem to
have forgotten that rest is just as important as action and the journey is more important than the destination.
I actually thought this was an interesting point of view.
It reminded me of something I scribbled in my
reflection journal after speed-reading Meditations by the Stoic philosopher Marcus Aurelius:
If you seek tranquillity, do less
As I left the breathwork studio, donned my blue light blocking sunglasses and
grabbed an Uber to visit my habit formation specialist (she’s helping me optimise my chill factor), it dawned on me:
We need to be talking about this MORE!
So today I’m making a very special
announcement.
From tomorrow, my daily email newsletter will no longer be a daily newsletter.
Instead, I’ll be sending out FIVE emails a day.
There’s so much to say about all this, so many performance boosters, wellness hacks, optimisation techniques and energy maximisation blueprints to share that I can’t possibly cram them all into just one email a day.
I’m not even sure if five emails a day will be enough.
But we’ll see.
