It's been a unique few months.
Lauren’s bun in the oven is the reason why.
Our days have been taken up with running around, picking up baby clobber, going to baby classes, trips to the midwife,
installing a car seat, building a chest of drawers, washing the baby’s clothes and kitting out the baby room in Fort Grundy.
There have also been some days where nothing much at all has happened.
From a baby
perspective, anyway.
And, more recently, Lauren’s burgeoning bump has burst into full bloom.
What was a modest, tidy looking bump a few weeks ago is suddenly a bump that could double up as a space hopper. It’s like someone
has hit fast forward on the bump remote.
All the while, Lauren has done an amazing job of tending, nurturing, protecting and watching over the little human growing inside her.
So why am I telling you all this?
Simple.
Because seeing our baby come to life has jogged some words of wisdom from Michael Neill's Creating the Impossible program in 2023.
Michael was comparing the creative process to having a baby.
There’s the spark at the beginning. The moment of conception.
Then there’s all the time spent
scrambling, ticking off to-do lists and flapping around like a headless chicken.
There’s the moments where nothing seems to be happening, even though there’s a lot happening beneath the surface.
And there are also
moments when your creation takes on a life of its own. Instead of you running the show, you become an interested observer.
To my mind, it’s good to know we can expect a rhythm like this when we bring big, bold, creative ideas to life.
A few frantic, everything-is-moving-a-million-miles-an-hour days?
Expected.
Some slow, nothing-is-really-happening days?
Expected too.
And the days where we can let our creative project bloom into life without us? And where anything we do will probably just make things worse?
Totally, 100% expected.
In many ways, the creative process is the exact opposite of a micro-managed project with timelines, deadlines, responsibilities and accountabilities.
I mean, imagine
telling your boss you're taking a step back to "let this high priority project unfold on its own"?
But for exciting, inspiring, creative work, this is inevitable.
Someone who lives & breathes this?
Michael Neill.
His reputation and 30+ years’ experience is why he regularly coaches movie stars, sports stars, heads of state and so on.
Michael currently charges $5k for half a day of 1 on 1 coaching.
But if you sign up for Michael’s latest program, Creating the Impossible, and join one of his weekly group calls, you can get direct, real-time, personal coaching from Michael on how to turn you dream into a reality
(as well as a couple of bonuses from me if you sign up in the next 29 hours or so – more on that below).
You simply can’t get tailored guidance & clarity like this by reading a book or listening to a podcast.
In case
you missed my last couple of emails, I’m promoting Creating the Impossible until 7pm UK time on Saturday 11th January.
If you’d like to find out more about the program:

p.s. I took part in Creating the Impossible (CTI) in 2023 and it blew me away.
The principles I learnt during the program opened up a new world for me. These same principles now underpin my own coaching.
And because I know first-hand what a life-changing experience CTI can be, I’m throwing two bonuses into the mix so you have no reason NOT to sign up for the
program.
The first bonus is two 1 hour 1-on-1 coaching calls with me.
(I currently charge £500 for three 1 hour 1-on-1 calls – I’ll let you do the maths)
You can use these two calls however you like. Need some clarity on a decision you’ve been mulling over? Got a challenge you’d like to overcome? Want to spend less time in your head? Would you love to find more day-to-day energy, joy & peace of mind?
Nothing is off the table. It’s
totally up to you.
The second bonus?
I’m hosting a one-off group Zoom session for anyone on my newsletter who joins CTI.
I’m calling this session CTI Cheat Code.
During the session, I’ll be sharing tips, insights and lessons from when I completed the program in 2023. It’s kind of like a backstage pass so you can squeeze every last drop of magic out of your own CTI experience.
I haven’t set a date and time for this call yet. But it’ll probably be a weekday evening UK time in the next few weeks.
To collect these two bonuses, you MUST email me your CTI receipt by 7pm UK time on Saturday.
If your receipt lands in my inbox even a minute after 7pm on Saturday, it’s too late.
