Last week, I sent out an email listing my 7 favourite books of the year so far.
A few readers replied to that email saying “I’ve just bought a copy of book X – can’t wait to read
it!”
I also got a reply from a reader (who I’ll keep anonymous – not sure she wants me to name her) asking this:
How do you read so many books?!
As it turns out, in December 2024 I wrote about this very topic in an email called “How to beat the battle between buying books and reading them”.
Of course, that email was two months before the stork delivered Baby Grundy to the footsteps of Fort Grundy.
But even though there’s a gurgling, smiling and pooping bundle of joy in my life now and my schedule is at the mercy of nap cycles and nappy changes, the principle in that email still holds true.
It’s a principle which explains how I can polish off
more books and podcasts than most people have hot dinners, even though I’m also working a 9 to 5 job and spending my free time at home singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
It also explains how I churn out these daily emails, even if the “daily” part of “daily email” has become “almost daily”.
If you’re interested, here’s the email
Lucky for me, I had an answer up my sleeve for that question.
But it got me thinking.
Perhaps you have a question you haven’t seen
me tackle before?
Maybe you have a question about mindset, the world of work or personal development.
Maybe you have a question about my newsletter or my coaching.
Or maybe you have a question that’s completely off topic, but you’d like to chance your arm anyway.
Whatever the case, if you have a question for me, now’s the time to ask. No question is too serious or too silly, too weird or too wonderful.
And who knows? Your question could end up in my archives too.
So hit reply and ask away. I look forward to hearing from you.
