On a recent drive from London to Lauren’s home town of Sheffield (the mighty City of Steel), I listened to a podcast called “Why people do things they don’t want to do”.
The podcast was hosted by Judy Sedgeman and Christine Heath, two psychologists with over 100 years of experience between them.
As I was listening, Judy and Christine started talking about a friend called Louis who used to run workshops for men.
Can you guess which of Louis’s workshops always got the most attendees?
It was called “How To Fix Your Wife”.
Apparently men would show up in DROVES for this workshop, all giddy-eyed, leaning forwards in their seats, rubbing their hands together with glee and ready to finally learn how to “fix” their better halves.
Then Louis would stand at the front of the room and say that there was nothing wrong with any of their wives…
And it was the way the men were seeing their wives that was the problem!
Then the workshop would begin.
Quite the sneaky ploy, I’m sure you’ll agree.
If you’ve been reading my
emails this week, you’ll know I’m promoting Dr Giles Croft's Relationships Masterclass.
Well, here’s the thing about this Masterclass:
Giles could've called it "How to Fix Your Wife, Your Husband, Your In-Laws, Your Boss,
Your Teenage Children and Your Neighbour Who Plays Drum and Bass until 3am".
That title would’ve got people sitting up, paying attention and spluttering into their macchiatos.
But here's what Giles knows (and what
Louis also knew, I guess):
There's really nothing wrong with the people in your life. And if there’s friction between you and someone you love or someone you work with, it's the way you're seeing them that's creating the friction.
That’s all it is.
Which means Giles’s Masterclass isn't about fixing anyone else. It's about seeing your relationships with fresh eyes and watching how everything shifts when you do.
If you’d
like to read all about the bundle that Giles is offering until 8pm UK time on 6th Feb and how you can get your hands on Giles’s Masterclass for FREE as part of this bundle (it usually costs £149), here’s where to
go next.
There's only 6 hours left until the curtain comes down on this offer and this is the last email I'll be sending to promote it.
So if you've been thinking about buying but sitting on your hands, now's the time to spring into action.
To fulfilment,
Tom
p.s. here's what's included in the £80 bundle:

- The
Mission: Unflappable bonus I recorded with Giles (I’ll be selling this for £49 once this promo is over)
