In yesterday’s email, I opened up two spots for a beer-fueled career consultation.
This offer was inspired by a new bar which has opened in Tokyo with the catchy name The Job-Changing Career Consultation Bar. The idea is that anyone wrestling with a career dilemma can pop along to the bar, grab a drink and chat with the barman all
about their job situation.
One of my two spots has been snapped up since yesterday and the sake is now on ice.
But there’s still one spot available.
This could be perfect for you if:
*** You’re in a good spot with your job but want to get to an even better spot
*** You’re good at your job but you’re not
sure if this is the job you want to be good at
*** You’ve noticed your life priorities have shifted recently, but your job hasn’t shifted with them
*** You keep being tugged in a new direction but you don’t want to throw
away the career you’ve built
*** You’ve been offered an exciting new opportunity but you genuinely love aspects of your current role and you’re torn between the two
If any of this sounds familiar, here’s the
deal:
I’ll grab a beer and you grab your tipple of choice. Then we fire up a Zoom call, sip our tasty beverages and chat about your career quandary.
I won’t offer you any career advice on our call. I’m not going to pretend
I have the answers. But I will create a space where you can think out loud, find your own answers and untangle the mental spaghetti stopping you from seeing your career conundrum clearly.
I have one space open at the bar for this career consultation session:
Tuesday 17th February, 7.15pm UK Time
The cost is £72 and the call will last as long as our drinks last (I’m
guessing 30 – 45 mins).
As you might’ve gathered, this is a niche offer. This is only for you if you've got a genuine career dilemma on your hands. And yes, I’m aware that the evening in the UK might be first thing in the morning in your part of the world and perhaps you don’t want to be cracking open a cold one at 4.15am.
So if you can’t make this slot, just mosey on past the bar.
But if you do have a career dilemma and you can make this slot, my suggestion is to click the link, book the session and I’ll be in touch straight after.
If the link doesn’t work when you click, it means someone else has beaten you to the rum punch.
To fulfilment,
Tom
