I’ve written before about my pal and newsletter subscriber Jim Roberts.
Jim’s the guy who quit his job at international law firm Ropes & Gray LLP to travel the Amazon Rainforest. Then he mashed those two worlds together to write his fantasy jungle escape trilogy, The Monkey State.
A few weeks ago, Jim published the third and final part of his trilogy:
The sinister-sounding Blood In The Green.
(I can hear the monkeys howling from here)
To celebrate, Jim’s running a very special offer on his books for the next couple of days.
Right now and up until Monday, you can grab a kindle copy of
the first and second books in the series (The Monkey State and In Search Of Maya) for free. And if you’d like to pick up the full trilogy in one go, Jim has also dropped the price of the kindle version of Blood In the Green to just 99p until Monday too.
But that's not all.
If you order the kindle version of Jim’s trilogy and you're the first subscriber to send me your receipt, Jim will grab a sharpie, sign a paperback copy of his first book and post it out to you himself!
Jim's clearly not messing about.
But this very special offer is limited to the first person who replies to this email with their receipt for the kindle trilogy attached. It really is first come, first served. So if you like the sound of bagging the full trilogy for next to nothing and a signed book to boot, I suggest you jump to it.
I previously described Jim’s trilogy as like a cross between the TV show Severance and the Planet of the Apes books & films.
I still can’t think of a better way to put it.
If you’re the sort of person who likes asking deeper questions about working life and you also enjoy a rip-roaring yarn, I think you’ll love Jim’s books.
Here’s where to go to take a look:
