I’ve been doomscrolling more than I care to admit recently.
So I thought I’d change the channel in this email.
Rather than wallowing in the news, today I’m writing about 7 things I’m looking
forward to instead.
Here’s what’s coming over the hill:
*** Publishing my book, Don’t Quit Your Job. I’ve been talking about this for donkey’s years. All I need to do is find a few hours to button it all together
and load everything onto Amazon. Easier said than done with a full time job, coaching clients and studying for my Executive Coaching Apprenticeship. But watch this space…
*** Writing a few emails to promote the book. This has got me juiced up almost as much as publishing the book itself!
*** England winning the World Cup this summer (let's hope I haven’t jinxed it now)
*** Completing 50 hours of coaching as part of my Coaching Apprenticeship. I have a few intro calls in the diary and another few coming down the track. Then it will be time to get stuck in with the
coaching. A lot can happen in a few hours of coaching so I’m psyched to see what will happen after 50 hours
*** Mother’s Day on Sunday. Not because I’ll be the star attraction that day (far from it!). But because Lauren, Baby Grundy and I will be heading out for our first ever family bike ride, then rounding things off with a slap-up Sunday roast
*** Releasing my new lead magnet How To Work Your Way into the wild. If you like the idea of having more energy, freedom and fulfilment at work, I’ll be writing more about this tomorrow (including how you can get your hands on a copy). So swing by then if that tickles your fancy
*** Moving out of Fort Grundy and London altogether to the mighty City of Steel, Sheffield. This is a big one. I’ve lived in London for the last decade or so. But it won’t be long before Lauren and I pack our bags and head to our brand new home in the Rhubarb Triangle. I’ll be sad to wave goodbye to the mean streets of East London, but equally I’m excited to get stuck into Sheffield and everything it has to offer
So there we have it.
No life lessons or pithy takeaways today.
Just 7 things I’m looking forward
to at the moment.
If there’s anything fun you’re looking forward to as well, feel free to hit reply and tell me about it. I’d love to hear.
To fulfilment,
Tom
